MacRUSTNIL 173

“MACLIN” MacRUSTNIL 173 is solvent based rust preventives consisting of film forming ingredients, rust inhibitors and water displacing additives. On evaporation of the solvent a thin film is obtained which means that all traces of the moisture on the surface of the component being coated are displaced by a protective film.

APPLICATIONS

The fluid has good spreading characteristic and normally hence this is used on a wide range of items. Normally this should be applied to wet metal by dipping or spraying. The recommended application is a protective coat for machine tools during operation and storage.

APPLICATIONS

“MACLIN” MacRUSTNIL DWX 901 is recommended to be used basically as a dewatering rust preventive fluid which proved rapid water displacement on cold and hot rolled coils and sheets. This can be used on metal or metal component for intermediate storage or transportation.
